UniSC offers several programs and free initiatives that provide knowledge, skills, and technology related to food security, sustainable agriculture, and aquaculture to local farmers and food producers.

Here are some key resources:

  1. Agriculture and Aquaculture Programs: UniSC offers courses and minors in Agriculture and Aquaculture, focusing on soil properties, plant growth, agricultural ecology, and sustainable aquaculture.
  2. Aquaculture Biotechnology: The Centre for Bioinnovation at UniSC focuses on developing sustainable aquaculture technologies. This includes selective breeding, genetics, and genomics to improve productivity and sustainability in aquaculture. Knowledge, skills and technology is shared via various research projects.
