By 2020, maintain the genetic diversity of seeds, cultivated plants and farmed and domesticated animals and their related wild species, including through soundly managed and diversified seed and plant banks at the national, regional and international levels, and promote access to and fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from the utilization of genetic resources and associated traditional knowledge, as internationally agreed.

2.5 National hunger
Indicator 2.5.1

Access to food security knowledge. Provide access on food security and sustainable agriculture and aquaculture knowledge, skills or technology to local farmers and food producers.

Events for local farmers and food producers. Provide events for local farmers and food producers to connect and transfer knowledge.

Indicator 2.5.3

University access to local farmers and food producers. Provide access to university facilities (e.g. labs, technology, plant stocks) to local farmers and food producers to improve sustainable farming practices.

Indicator 2.5.4

Sustainable food purchases. Prioritise purchase of products from local, sustainable sources.
