Screening - More Than a Fish Kill

Join us for a powerful documentary where artists, First Nations custodians and fisheries managers collaborate to turn ecological disaster into recovery.

Program

5 pm - Open up to audiences and mingling (non-alcoholic drinks and popcorn provided)

5.30pm - Welcome and introduction*

5.45-6pm - Documentary

6.40pm - Panel discussion and Q&A

7.15pm - Walk to the UniSC Water Battery for Nature Sounds and Projections **

8pm - Event ends

* Please arrive prior to 5.30pm so that you can be seated before the Welcome.

** We encourage you to stay for the Nature Sounds and Projections following the screening and panel discussion. This portion of the event will be outdoors and will require a short walk.

Location and parking

Refer to our campus map to locate the venue, which is Lecture Theatre 7 in Building C at UniSC Sunshine Coast.

The event is free but a minor parking fee applies until 6pm.

We would encourage you to take public transport, ride a bike or walk to campus if possible, or to ride share if not. There are multiple parking options available for those that must drive, and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations.

Special requirements

Should you have any mobility issues, access, or support requirements to participate fully, please let us know when you register to attend so adjustments can be made. The Nature Sounds and Projections requires a short walk from the venue and alternative arrangements can be made to travel from the theatre to the water battery.
