UniSC Theatre and Performance presents… DUCKS IN FLUX
Dreams, Drama and Ducks… A Fluxus Experience
An original production devised by the DRA301 company with music and sound by MUS203.
Directed by Dr Hannah Banks with musical direction by Dr Briony Luttrell.
DUCKS IN FLUX is a theatrical Fluxus-inspired performance that explores family tensions, bizarre dreams and ducks… lots of ducks. DUCKS IN FLUX combines the Fluxus spirit of play and artistic experimentation with the fleeting and absurd nature of dreams, moments of humour, emotion, chaos and deep brooding. With each quack, flutter and feathered pause, the tension of familiar relationships flows like water off a ducks back; sometimes it is gentle and sometimes it is a raging torrent – but always with a dash of quackiness.
Join us for an absurdly surreal and ephemeral experience, where reality quacks under pressure and dreams take flight.
All performances are free and are in the K1.G.09 Performance Studio on the Sippy Downs campus. It is next to Carpark P6 and the Art Gallery.
