Regional Projects: UniSC is involved in regional efforts such as the Sunshine Coast BioBlitz, which engages citizen scientists and experts in biodiversity surveys and environmental conservation activities, promoting sustainable water practices. UniSC regularly hosts workshops and public lectures on water security, providing valuable knowledge and practical solutions to local residents and government officials

Local Government: UniSC and the Sunshine Coast Council collaborate on several research projects focused on water security:
