The Fleet Office Scholarship

Scholarship applications for Semester 2, 2024 are now closed.

The scholarship is for high achieving second year students in eligible computer based programs at UniSC. It aims to offset study related costs, giving the recipient the freedom to focus on their education and career development opportunities.

The Fleet Office is a leading fleet management and telematics solutions provider based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The business offers cutting edge GPS tracking hardware and leading software solutions for fleet management. The Fleet Office seeks to support tertiary education for local students who demonstrate academic potential and an interest in gaining experience in computer programming and development relating to the fleet management industry.

**Subject to meeting the requirements of The Fleet Office, paid vacation and other professional development opportunities may be negotiated on mutually agreeable terms directly between the recipient and The Fleet Office. Students will be requested to provide a cover letter and resume on application.

The Scholarships are paid in instalments of A$2,500 per semester for up to 4 semesters. Scholarship payments will be made approximately three weeks after Census date of each Semester, once enrolment has been confirmed.

This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.

Eligibility
  • full-time undergraduate student enrolled in one of the following degrees*
    • Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology
    • Bachelor of Computer Science
    • Bachelor of Game Design
    • Bachelor of Design (Interactive and UX Design)

*Preference may be given to one degree over another as directed by The Fleet Office

  • second year, having successfully completed 96 units of the degree and with at least 144 units of study remaining until degree completion
  • minimum grade point average (GPA) 5.0
  • Permanent Resident of Australia, Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder
