Equity bursary supporting undergraduate Computer Science or Information and Communications Technology students at UniSC.
Established in 2025 by Dr Omer Yezdani, the aim of the New Horizons ICT bursary is to recognise the financial challenges that many students face during their studies. New Horizons refers to the incredible benefits and transformative potential that higher education offers, especially in a technology and data driven era. This bursary also provides an opportunity for students to gain real industry insights, mentoring and guidance from senior leaders in data and analytics to inspire and support students in their educational journey.
Each bursary is valued at $2,500 and will be paid as a lump sum payment approximately three weeks after Census Date in Semester 2.
Please note: This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.
