The QCWA Nambour North Coast Division Bursary aims to provide assistance to a mature aged female student with demonstrated financial need and commitments or responsibilities outside of their studies.
The QCWA Nambour North Coast Division Bursary is available in Semester 1, 2025 to mature-aged female students enrolled at UniSC Sunshine Coast campus.
The student recipient will receive the bursary funds as a lump sump payment after confirmation of enrolment at the Census date.
Please Note: This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.
- Eligibility
- new or continuing female student aged 40 or older
- enrolled full-time in any undergraduate Bachelor level program at UniSC Sunshine Coast campus
- residing in Queensland (Sunshine Coast region)
- Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder or permanent resident of Australia
- Selection criteria
- financial need
- hours worked in paid employment or commitment to activities that impact on the time available for the student to study (e.g. compulsory fieldwork placement, significant carer responsibilities)
Note: From 2026, preference will be given to a previous recipient of the bursary, provided all eligibility criteria continue to be met.
