The CGC Regional Scholarship will support full-time students relocating to UniSC who are enrolled in an undergraduate program at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Civil Geotechnical Consultants Pty Ltd (CGC) will fund two new scholarships in 2024 which will be paid to the recipient over two years of study.

The scholarship will be paid in instalments of $5,000 after census date in Semester 2, 2024 and Semester 1, 2025.

Please Note:  This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.

Eligibility

• full time student in any UniSC undergraduate program
• relocating, or have relocated, from a regional or remote area to study at UniSC
• Permanent Resident of Australia, Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder

Selection criteria

• financial need
• contribution to community
• preference for student enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering program
• preference will be given to students from outer regional areas to very remote areas who have relocated or are relocating to commence their studies in the year the scholarship is awarded
