Starting on 1 July 2025, eligible students can receive $319.50 per week during their mandatory placement. This amount is based on the single Austudy rate and is means-tested to provide support to students who need it most.
What is the Commonwealth Prac Payment?
The Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP) is financial support from the Australian Government. It helps students cover the costs associated with mandatory placements required in nursing, midwifery, social work and teaching programs.
