Nutrition and Dietetics Clinic

The UniSC Nutrition and Dietetics Clinic offers individualised dietary advice using evidence-based information and practice. The clinic is conducted by final-year Nutrition and Dietetic students under the supervision of Senior Dietitians.

Students are committed to helping clients meet their individual needs and goals. Individual personal and medical circumstances are carefully considered within the consultation.

Due to increased demand on Dietetic services, we will suggest a specific program which is tailored to your needs, delivered over a maximum of 4 sessions throughout the year. Programs include:

  • Weight Management
  • Chronic Condition Management (such as Type 2 Diabetes, High Cholesterol or Cardiovascular health, or gastrointestinal conditions such as reflux or diverticulitis)
  • Optimal Nutrition (includes pregnancy nutrition, gut health, nutrient deficiencies, and general healthy eating advice)

Our waitlist is growing daily, and we encourage you to consider your own level of commitment before making an appointment. Attending your booked sessions and acting on the plan provided to you, not only helps you reach your health goals, but it enhances the student experience.

Initial consultations are approximately 60 minutes and involve the dietetic students gathering relevant information, developing individualised goals and creating tailored interventions with you.
