Strange Weather brought together artworks that broadly considered how our contemporary understanding of the environment and our place within it is mediated by technology.
Here strange weather was a metaphor for ecological, geopolitical, technological and economic fragmentation. The artists in this exhibition used photography, moving images, sound, data, mapping and weather monitoring technologies, among others, to explore aspects of atmospheric strangeness that shape our understanding and experience.
