The University of the Sunshine Coast will put out the welcome mat at its new campus at Caboolture this Sunday (5 August).
The USC Caboolture Open Day for prospective students and their families will be held from 10am to 1pm at the campus on Tallon Street, Caboolture, and will have the theme ‘Rise, and shine starts here’.
Visitors will be able to inspect the campus, get questions answered, and learn more about the study programs they’re interested in by chatting one-on-one with USC academics.
Available programs at USC Caboolture include a suite of degrees in Business, Creative Industries, Education, Nursing Science and Midwifery, and a bridging program called Tertiary Preparation Pathway.
Panel discussions on Open Day will assist prospective students who already know what they want to study, as well as those still making up their minds about what to study or whether studying is the right thing for them.
The first session is called ‘Make the USC Experience work for you’ and will highlight the study, career, networking and social opportunities available at USC.
The second will be a ‘Please help me choose: I want to study but I’m not sure I can’ discussion that will outline how people can determine which study programs and career paths might best match their interests, strengths and goals.
Both sessions will include stories, tips and advice from USC students, graduates and staff.
Information will also be available about the extensive range of study programs at USC’s main campus at Sippy Downs and the programs that are planned for the USC Moreton Bay campus when it opens at Petrie in 2020.
