USC is welcoming more than 140 new students to its Fraser Coast campus tomorrow with a Semester 2 Orientation program filled with social and academic activities to introduce them to university life.
The students have enrolled mid-year in a range of USC study programs, including degrees in Nursing Science, Education, Animal Ecology, Environmental Science, Psychology, Social Work, and Tourism, Leisure and Event Management.
Market stalls and games are the not-so-serious side of a packed Orientation designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for Semester 2, which begins next week.
In the lead-up to Orientation, the students are taking part in three days of workshops on IT, research fundamentals, academic writing and strategies to enhance their learning.
The additional students will take the total number currently enrolled at USC Fraser Coast to around 600.
Applications are still open to study at USC in Semester 2.
