Nursing Science is the most popular undergraduate degree on the Fraser Coast as Semester 1 gets underway this week for more than 350 students at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Fraser Coast campus.
Almost 150 students are enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing Science which offers graduates career opportunities in areas such as acute care, community and rural health, mental health and aged care.
Other popular degrees are Primary Education, Human Services, Accounting and Marketing.
Meanwhile, 80 Fraser Coast students have enrolled in USC’s award-winning tertiary bridging program, the Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP).
TPP allows students to experience university life before committing to a degree program, and subjects completed as part of the TPP program are free of charge for Australian students. Upon successful completion of TPP, students can gain direct entry into most USC degrees.
