Paid parking
Paid parking applies Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm all year (excluding public holidays). To locate paid parking zones, refer to the parking map.
Payment options are available to UniSC students and staff, campus tenants and visitors:
- Start a PAYG parking session via CellOPark. For information on how to register please visit the CellOPark website. For information on parking rates at UniSC Sunshine Coast please visit Parking fees and fines.
- Six-month and 12-month parking vPermits are available to purchase online.
- Daily eTickets are available at Ticketless Parking Meters (pay by coins, Mastercard or Visa) around the campus.
Please note: a PAYG, vPermit or eTicket does not provide an allocated or guaranteed parking space.
Motorcycles must park in designated motorcycle parking bays, with a valid PAYG, vPermit or eTicket.
Paid parking at UniSC is a ticketless system. Payment is cross-checked against your vehicle’s registration number when on campus, so there is no need to print or display a ticket or permit.
Sunshine Coast Council parking inspectors enforce parking regulations on campus and in the surrounding streets and issue infringement notices.
It is recommended you read more about PAYG, vPermits, eTickets, how to pay and conditions of use prior to making your purchase.
Refer also to paid parking FAQs.
Free parking
Free parking is available at Car Park 22 (P22), off Claymore Road (refer to the parking map). P22 has capacity for 565 cars and is less than a kilometre from the centre of campus—approximately a 15-minute walk.

You can keep your bike overnight in the secure bike facilities within P22 to make your commute to the main campus even quicker. For swipe access via your UniSC ID card, visit the cycling page.
As free parking is limited, consider alternative transport options to make your way to UniSC’s campus.

During off-peak times, parking in Carpark 1 is free to all UniSC students and staff via swipe card access. Students or staff without a vPermit can enter the carpark during these times, but must exit before 7.30am on the next weekday.

Parking on surrounding streets

This is part of the Council's larger, precinct wide strategy to ensure the right people park in the right places and do so safely.
Please visit the Sunshine Coast Council website for a clear overview of the parking management strategy and restricted areas, including a map, or use the Sunshine Coast Council's EasyPark app to locate available spaces.
