AGREEMENT

Bike Hub / End of Trip Facilities Conditions of Use
  1. Use of the End of Trip Facilities is at the User’s own risk and responsibility. The User is responsible for the security of their bicycle or any other piece of equipment stored within the facility. Use of additional security measures, such as locks, is strongly recommended.

  2. Use of the End of Trip Facilities is on a “first-in first served” basis. Bike Hub Users are not guaranteed a bicycle parking place.

  3. End of Trip Users must: (a) Respect the rights of other users; (b) Dismount and mount their bicycle outside the bike storage facility;

  4. End of Trip Facilities Users must not: (a) Claim or attempt to claim any particular bicycle storage rack for their sole use; (b) Interfere with or remove another user’s bicycle from the bicycle storage rack; (c) Damage or vandalise any part of the bike storage facility; (e) Assist or permit other persons to gain unauthorised access to the bike storage facility; (f) Ride their bicycles inside the enclosure.

  5. If a student or staff identification card is damaged or lost, the user is required to notify SafeUniSC or Campus Development and Services immediately.

  6. Student or staff identification cards are for personal use only and must not be transferred or used by another to gain access to the Bike Hub, as per the conditions of student and staff identification cards.

  7. Audits are carried out on a regular basis during semester on all End of Trip Facilities and racks. Bikes that remain in place for more than two weeks will be considered abandoned and will be tagged. Any bicycles that are not moved within two weeks of being tagged will be removed from the bike hub facility and disposed of sustainably as per the University's Lost Property policy.

LOCKER ACCESS

Personal Lockers Conditions of Use
  1. Upon the approval of a new application for the lease of a personal locker, the successful applicant will be provided with a personal locker number and combination via email.
  2. Personal Lockers can only be leased for the duration of one semester being orientation week to conclusion of exam block. At the end of this period, a renewal application must be submitted prior to the conclusion of week 13 of the semester to ensure continued access to the locker.
  3. For any Personal Locker leases which are not being renewed, all personal belongings must be removed from the locker at the conclusion of the advertised exam block period.
  4. If you cease enrolment/employment during the lease period, you must notify us via email (ride@usc.edu.au) within 7 days to terminate the lease.
  5. Any personal belonging which are not removed at the conclusion of a lease, will be stored securely by the University for a period of 2 weeks ready for collection. After this time, unclaimed belongings will be disposed of as per the University’s lost property policy.
  6. Personal Lockers cannot be used to store perishables, food, stolen or illegal items.
  7. All items stored in the Personal Locker are the responsibility of the user. Lockers must be securely fastened/locked at all times, and it is strongly recommended lockers are not used to store valuable items.
  8. Personal Locker users are to act appropriately and not interfere with other users or their belongings.
  9. The University reserves the right to access and inspect lockers. 24hrs notice will be given to the user prior to the inspection.
  10. If the use of a Locker does not comply with any of these conditions, the University reserves the right to terminate the lease at any time. Access to the locker will be revoked and personal belongings will be removed and stored securely by the University for a period of 2 weeks ready for collection. After this time, unclaimed belongings will be disposed of as per the University’s lost property policy.
  11. The University reserves the right to amend these conditions of use from time to time without notice.
  12. UniSC will work closely with any applicants requiring special accommodations to provide a suitable outcome.
