Michelle is a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy in the clinical training team, who’s role is to facilitate and support the clinical training of Occupational Therapy students through work integrated learning opportunities and teaching.
Michelle is passionate about student learning and supervision to facilitate high levels of competency and readiness of students for professional practice in Occupational Therapy, with an understanding of the importance of both theoretical and practical learning in students achieving this.
Coming from a background as an experienced Occupational Therapist, Michelle has a wealth of clinical knowledge in adult disability, NDIS, aged care, and rehabilitation across both public and private healthcare sectors. She additionally has substantial experience in managing multidisciplinary allied health teams in both hospital and private practice settings, with a robust understanding of the needs, expectations, and experiences of allied health professionals in the current healthcare workforce and across their careers.
