Jessie Johnson-Cash is a nursing and midwifery lecturer who has worked as a midwife in private practice as well a in the public and private hospital sectors. She is experienced and passionate about supporting and promoting physiological birth and providing woman-centred care. Jessie has worked in mental health as a registered nurse and has a keen interest in perinatal mental health and wellbeing.

 

Jessie is a dedicated teacher with a student-centred philosophy. She was awarded a Fellowship from the Higher education Academy (FHEA) in 2023 in recognition of her work in higher education.
