Dr Inez Mahony is Centre Manager of the Australian Centre for Pacific Islands Research.
Inez has a career spanning almost two decades in various roles in the tertiary sector - in teaching and research, and research administration and project management. She has degrees in journalism and international studies with a special interest in the Asia Pacific region. Inez has over 10 years’ experience in Indonesia working and researching Indonesian media, society and culture, and is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia. Much of her work in recent years has been in research management and in international development, working on research and capacity building projects with stakeholders from Pacific island countries, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, Mongolia and Uganda.
