Adrian McCallum

Dr Adrian McCallum is a Senior Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering at UniSC and:

  • A Specialist in remote area science and engineering
  • An accomplished leader and manager across a diverse range of endeavours
  • Has extensive experience in the collection and analysis of scientific and engineering data
  • Is a leader and manager of projects in remote regions of the world including the Arctic, Himalaya and Antarctica

  • Analysis of snow density data collected on a ski-traverse of the Greenland Ice Sheet in May 2024,
  • Analysis of Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CTD) oceanographic data collected in numerous coastal locations off Greenland and Svalbard in June/July 2024, and
  • Development of a passive radar for geophysical assessment of glaciers and ice caps/sheets.
