Step 2 Formal Grievance Resolution (Credit Transfer)

Important information before submitting your grievance

Before lodging a grievance, you may wish to seek independent advice and support. The Student Guild can provide you with advice to best prepare your grievance. Either call, (07) 5456 3742 or mail AdvocacyStudentGuild@usc.edu.au and a student advocate will speak with you.

You may also wish to reach out to the Student Ombudsman who can assist you to navigate and understand the policies and procedures related to your grievance. You can email the Student Ombudsman at studentombudsman@usc.edu.au.

Remember to include evidence to support your grievance. To ensure your Formal Grievance is investigated appropriately, you will need to provide as much information as possible with supporting evidence.

Please ensure to include the following:

(a) the nature of the grievance;

(b) full names of those involved (if appropriate);

(c) the timelines for events pertinent to the grievance;

(d) what action has been taken to resolve the matter to date;

(e) the evidence available to support the grievance;

(f) the outcome you are seeking.
