Cleaner energy - Veolia
With a relationship stemming back to the early 2000s, UniSC and Veolia's shared vision of innovation and sustainability led to the development of a project aimed at reducing the University's energy use by up to 40 percent. The water battery constructed on the UniSC Sunshine Coast campus features more than 6,000 solar panels and a 4.5 ML thermal energy storage tank.

With five campuses in South East Queensland, our newest campus, UniSC Moreton Bay at Petrie, is situated in the third largest local government area in Australia by population, and one of the fastest growing. To the north, our Fraser Coast campus sits in the rapidly expanding city of Hervey Bay, known for its beautiful landscapes, pristine beaches, and historic towns.
