You can help protect K'gari's unique and vulnerable ecosystem.

DO NOT BRING:

* Domestic pets. They are not permitted on the Island. Native fauna is impacted by domestic animals.

* Soil or plants. Bringing soil and plants to the Island is not permitted. Native flora is impacted by weeds and pathogens.

DO:

* All vehicles should have a washdown prior to entering the Island as weeds and pathogens threaten native species. Washdown stations are located in Hervey Bay and Rainbow Beach.
