What to take

There are limited opportunities to purchase fresh water, food and other supplies on the Island.

Fresh Water

Not all day-use areas have water suitable for drinking. Always treat water before drinking. It's also advisable to take a clean container of fresh drinking water when planning a trip.

Food

There are limited shops on the Island. Take most provisions with you.

Shops

It is advisable to bring enough food for your visit. Some grocery items are available at Eurong Beach, Happy Valley, Kingfisher Bay Resort and Orchid Beach.

Bring enough cash as ATMs are not available, but most stores and hotels have EFTPOS.

Fuel

There are limited refuelling facilities. Fuel is available at Eurong, Kingfisher Bay, Happy Valley and Orchid Beach. LPG for vehicles is not available on the Island.

Sunscreen, hats and insect repellent

Note - protect the lakes and do not wear sunscreen if swimming in the lakes.
