Workshop one
Conquer challenges
Identify and overcome challenges or fears that may be holding you back from achieving your study goals. Current students will share their experiences and staff are on hand to offer honest and helpful information and one-on-one support as you plan your next steps.
You'll learn about:
- Pathways and entry requirements for study
- Costs and financial support available
- Ways to balance your study with everything else
- Support available and how to access it
Workshop two
Define my direction
Identify your personal values, skills, interests and goals and research and explore career paths and study options that will suit you.
In this workshop you will:
- Use career assessment tools to refine your options
- Road-test careers
- Gain tools, insight and resources to guide your decision-making
Workshop three
Upskill for study
Discover the essential skills and resources you need to succeed in study.
You'll learn:
- The importance of academic skills
- How to turn formal and informal learning from work and life experience into academic skills
- Study strategies
- Skills for reading, referencing, writing and researching
Equip in your organisation
UniSC's experienced staff can deliver one or more free Equip program workshops in your organisation or community group.
Groups must have ten or more registered participants and be located in the following areas:
- Fraser Coast and Wide Bay
- Gympie
- Sunshine Coast and Noosa
- Moreton Bay
