Master of Science
Program OverviewThe Master of Science (MSc) is an advanced research program which requires original research in an area of interest to the student and of broader significance in the university and the community. The program will assist to upgrade original training and to equip graduates for senior positions, develop areas of expertise and increase professional credibility in day-to-day dealings with clients. The MSc program involves a comprehensive review of the literature, advanced research techniques, and extensive analysis applied to a project in a workplace situation. Entry RequirementsCandidates for the award of Master of Science are normally required to hold a Bachelors degree with at least second class honours Division 1 from a recognised higher education institution. Applicants who have completed a Bachelors degree and have achieved by subsequent work and study a standard equivalent to at least second class honours Division 1 may also be considered. In exceptional cases applications may be considered on the basis of other evidence of general and professional qualifications as approved by the Research Management Committee. Notes1.
