Description
This is an introductory course that considers the fundamental relationships between environmental factors and human health. The links between individual health, community well-being and the ecological condition of the environment are explored through an integrative, ecosystem health framework. Selected approaches to studying and managing complex and uncertain issues, in the context of promoting socio-ecological sustainability, will be examined.
