Description


This course has been designed as an introduction to the study of life sciences and the environment. During this course we will investigate the nature and diversity of life, from microorganisms and fungi to plants and animals, and introduce the mechanism of diversity: evolution through natural selection. In addition, students also will learn how different groups of organisms are adapted to life in terrestrial and aquatic environments, and about some of the interactions between organisms and their environment.
