Description
Physiology and Anatomy 1 takes a systematic approach to anatomy and physiology looking at the common themes of structure and function and the maintenance of homeostasis in the normal human body. It prepares the students for further study looking at perturbations to the systems in both exercise and disease states. Systems studied in the first semester course include the skeletal, articular system and muscular systems and cardiovascular and respiratory systems and their control by the nervous system.
