Population Ecology, Genetics and Conservation

Description


The goal of this course is to establish a foundation in population ecology and population genetics and their application to conservation eceology. Students are introduced to the theories of population ecology, population genetics and evolutionary ecology. This course allows the student to evelop an understanding of population dynamics, develop skills in the analysis and interpretation of data and use simple mathematical models and quantitative data that underlie the study of ecology and genetics.
