Profile
Neil Mellor is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 28 years experience working in government and non government human services organisations. He has worked as a therapist, supervisor, and a leader in a range of clinical, community health and welfare services. This includes extensive experience in delivering face to face and telephone counselling, self help and community education programs addressing issues associated with gambling, alcohol and other drug use issue, violence and crime. In addition he has planned; implemented and evaluated competency based training and education for community sector and allied health professionals.
Neil has also been involved in policy and program development in Australia and overseas formulating strategies for the advancement of health, safety and the minimisation of harm for vulnerable community groups.
