Faculty research
Research in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences encompasses a broad range of academic fields and disciplines. Supervision is available in many of the programs, majors and minors offered in the Faculty.
Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences researchers are committed to scholarly inquiry, creativity and innovation. Students wishing to undertake research at postgraduate or honours level should scan academic staff profiles to examine the expertise, publications and current projects of Faculty staff.

Current Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) students in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences undertake projects on a broad wide range of topics and issues.
As an honours research student or a postgraduate higher degrees by research student you will not only enhance your own employment prospects, but in contributing to advancing and applying knowledge, you will play an active role in shaping a better future for all.
The Faculty’s research expertise also aligns with that of the Sustainability Research Centre.
The Faculty hosts regular research seminars to present the work of faculty staff, HDR students and visiting academics.
